Meet Brent
Brent Prismall is a wellbeing and player development professional based in Melbourne, Australia, with extensive experience supporting young people, athletes and communities through periods of transition, change and personal growth.
With a career spanning elite sport, education and community wellbeing, Brent has worked closely with young people navigating life after school, during their early careers, and beyond structured environments such as elite football. His work focuses on connection, early intervention and long-term support, particularly in moments where structure drops away and expectations increase.
Brent’s background is deeply embedded in elite sport, particularly in the Australian Football League (AFL), where he has held senior wellbeing and development roles across professional and community settings. He has worked extensively with athletes, families, coaches and administrators to design and deliver wellbeing frameworks that prioritise people first, while still supporting high-performance environments.
Alongside his practical experience, Brent has completed formal training in leadership development, resilience and counselling equipping him to support young people not only through challenge, but in building the skills, mindset and self-awareness required to lead themselves and others over time. His approach blends evidence-based practice with lived experience from high-pressure environments.
Alongside his professional roles, Brent has led and contributed to alumni transition initiatives, mentoring programs and post-career support models, recognising that many challenges emerge not during participation, but in the years that follow. This work ultimately led to the creation of F13, designed to address the gap that exists after school and sport finishes.
Brent is known for his calm, practical and relationship-driven approach. He believes wellbeing, leadership and resilience are built through trust, consistency and genuine connection—not one-off programs or reactive solutions.
Outside of work, Brent remains closely connected to sport and community, values meaningful conversation, and is passionate about helping young people feel supported, understood and confident as they move into the next stage of life.
